Lucas loves the fish at his daycare center. Every day he has to go say hello to them. So, we decided it was time to get him some fish to enjoy at home. I set this up yesterday and tonight we went and got some fish after the 24 hour waiting period.
It’s a small 10 gallon aquarium for Tropical Community fish. In it, we have 1 yellow tetra, 1 creamsicle molly, and one catfish (of some sort). They’re not that visible in the photo (other than the creamsicle molly) so I have put notes around them.
Update: Cookie, the yellow tetra, croaked. He has been replaced by two larger, more robust fish. I have no idea what type they are. One is blue and the other is orange with a blue fin on top. They’re also kind of tall and flat, but about 1 – 1.5 inches long.

Grand opening celebration for Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic in Austin, Texas.
On May 30, Richard Reinap II, DVM and his staff celebrated their grand opening of the Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic. Plenty of dogs, cats, and people attended the grand opening to tour the clinic, enjoy the treats, and mingle. Events included a doggie costume contest, pet trick contest, and a petting zoo. Kids were also treated to balloon animals and face painting.
This photo was taken by Therese Kopiwoda, owner of the PetsitUSA pet sitter, dog walker, and dog daycare directory. She is also the owner of Austin Pet First Aid, and attended the veterinary clinic to talk to pet owners about pet first aid & CPR.
